We can transfer files on 9-Track, 3480, 3490 and 3490e tapes to CD-ROM or
DVD. Optionally, we can also convert the EBCDIC data to ASCII.
The price is $100
per tape for a "raw" copy or a simple byte-for-byte EBCDIC text to ASCII conversion
of up to 600 megabytes. ($25 per additional 600 megabytes. 3490e tapes can be
more than 600 megs.)
Turn-around time is two business days.
We can optionally convert the EBCDIC data to ASCII. If we already created a
custom .LAY data layout file for you, the conversion cost is only $100 more per
tape or CD-ROM (max 5 files).
You may find this new one-stop service convenient if you receive monthly,
quarterly or yearly tapes that you need converted.
